Effect of SCM435 initial microstructure and annealing process on spheroidization grade and properties

In order to research the evolution of microstructures and properties SCM435 wire rod after annealing with different initial structures, two kinds microstructure (B+M F+P) rods were used simulate spheroidizing annealing, softening stress relief processes respectively. The results show that under same process conditions, spheroidization grade B+M was 1-2 higher than F+P, while hardness does not decrease increase grade. analysis indicated precipitation strengthening occurs only in micro alloy composition system, but also carbon steel. By control size amount cementite particles, obvious effect can be produced. Besides, high-temperature low sample has more massive ferrite concentrated cementite, causing decreasing. addition, differences between simulation industrial production are analyzed provide guidance for formulating enterprises equipment.
